Lecial Wayne Newman, 62, of Benton died Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He was born May 7, 1957 in Newport to Jimmy Lee Newman and Naomi Holloway Newman.Wayne was preceded in death by his father. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Crystal Gross (James) of Benton; four siblings, Julia Ann Criswell (Scott), James Newman, Dennis Newman (Sherri), and Melody Sinks (Scott), all of North Little Rock; and 4 grandchildren, Haley Hughes, Kierslynn Lunsford, James Gross, Jr., and Skylar Gross.Wayne will be remembered as a loving and generous father, brother, son and friend. He was a talented musician and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

    You will be missed dearly I love you so much you love me so much we had a daughter together when I look at her I see you when she looks at me she sees you I’m so thankful that God put us together we pray together every morning when I was around you said grab my hand and let’s pray we did that every morning when I was around I just thank you Jesus that you use my vessel and he was saved and I thank you for using me to do that that’s the most precious thing that you can do for anyone is telling about Jesus I thank you father in Jesus Christ name that you used me for that man to be saved and he’s in glory looking down on us now Glory Hallelujah up there with your dad and my mom and are all the loved ones thank you Jesus for that no more pain no more Sorrows No More Tears he’s alive and living we talked about the future now I realize I’ll be seeing him very soon again Glory Hallelujah

    The Lord has a plan for Wayne his work on Earth was done.. He left and impact on everyone that was Blessed to be in his life even if it was just a brief moment.
