Nona Ford, age 84

Nona Ford, 84, passed away on April 30, 2020.  She was born on March 10, 1936 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Henry and Dovie (Higgs) Burgess.

She was a strong, wonderful and loving mother, sister and granny.  She recently retired two years ago as a dispatcher with CCS Trucking in Conway, Arkansas. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby Ford, son Ricky Ford, brother Milburn Burgess and grandson Bradley Ross.

Nona leaves behind her loving family; her children Ronnie Ford of Wooster, Arkansas and Connie Ross (Michael) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her brother Ray Burgess of Amarillo, Texas; her grandchildren Misty Ross, Robert Ross, Jennifer Mason, her five great-grandchildren; her two great-great- grandchildren; many friends and family.

In light of current public health concerns a service will be held at a later date. Her family is very grateful for your understanding, support and prayers in this difficult time.

    How I loved Nona, I talked to her almost every day sometimes twice. Prayers for Ronnie, Connie and Ray and all of her family. She talked a lot about her grandchildren. She was always a hard worker. Rest in Peace my Sweet Friend
