Tommy Barger, age 72, passed away on May 20, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born December 2, 1947 to Elmer “Earl” and Clara Bell Barger.
Tommy served his country in Vietnam War but not before marrying his lifelong love Betty Maxine Elder on June 9, 1968.
He is survived by his brothers, Lonnie Earl Barger (Sue), and Danny Ray; his sister, Barbara Ann; his daughter Genean Barger Butler (Shane); his son, Tony Joe Barger (Bridgette), and six grandchildren, Austin Trey, Westin Seth (Kendrick), Ellie May, McKenzie Grace, Jaxson Kaleb, Emma Kate, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family and attending New Life Church-Pine Bluff where he was an usher.
One of his greatest pass times was playing golf with his brother Lonnie, even though it was well known they both cheated.
A come and go Celebration of Life was held at his residence in Pine Bluff on May 23, 2020 for family and friends to honor him.
