Alan Hawley Gwin, age 44

Alan Hawley Gwin, age 44, of Little Rock, born on September 30, 1975 departed this life on June 2, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy W. Gwin and his, mother, Anne Marie Lowe Gwin.

Alan is survived by his loving brother, William Chad Gwin, Chad’s wife Amanda, nieces Nora Glory Gwin, Sarah Beatrice Gwin, Sophia Alene Gwin, newborn Nephew William Scott Gwin, many cousins and countless friends. Most importantly, Alan is survived by his daughter Helen Margaret Gwin “Sweet Pea”, 6, whom Alan loved and doted upon with all of his heart.

Alan had an undeniable relationship with God. He was steadfast in his faith, and this will forever be one of his memorable traits. Alan’s wit and humor endeared him to many. His dapper looks landed him into modeling, once appearing on a billboard reading “Confidence.” He had a beautiful voice and charismatic smile. He sang in the praise band at church and entertained his friends with renditions of Elvis, sometimes donning an Elvis jumpsuit, earning him the nickname “Alvis.” Alan was loved deeply, and his memories will forever live on through his friends, family, and beautiful daughter.

    My deepest condolences to Alan’s family and all who loved him. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of his beloved savior. I will miss him and his beautiful smile.
