Alpha Jean (Vocque) Ellis, 91, passed from this life to her eternal reward on July 25, 2020. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 18, 1929 to the late Jewell Daniel and Hazel (Bright) Vocque.
She lived her life devoted to the Lord, the Church, her husband and her family. Her faith was in the Church of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Royal blood flowed in her veins; she was a child of God. She participated in campaign drives for the American Red Cross, donated Bibles through American Bible Society, contributed to DAV, the Wounded Warrior Project, the St Labre Indian School, and Christians United for Israel. She began her 67 years of marriage to Ralph Reece Ellis on August 1, 1953 in Saline County, Arkansas with an entourage of his and her family at midnight by the Justice of the Peace.
