Clifton Duane “Butch” Barker, 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 29, 2020 at his home in Sherwood, Arkansas. Butch was born to Cloyd and E.C. Barker on August 7, 1942 in Wyandotte, Michigan. The family them moved to Lake City, Arkansas where he graduated as a Catfish from Lake City High School in 1960. After graduation, Butch went on to serve in the National Guard for 35 years and was a Veteran of Desert Storm. Upon retirement, Butch spent most of his time doing what he loved: hunting with his brother, Bobby.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and E.C. Barker; a sister, Connie Barker; one daughter, Danette Davis-Wixson and one grandson, Tyler Clark
Butch is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Patricia “Pat” Barker; four daughters, Roxann Smith (David), Suzie Pilcher, Angelina Calahan (Doug) all of Lake City, Arkansas and Tanya Owen of Sherwood, Arkansas; two brothers Harold Barker (Ida Pearl) and Robert “Bob” Barker all of Lake City, Arkansas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a lot of nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.

So sorry for your loss. It’s been many years since I have seen Butch. I have great memories of when he lived in Rockford Illinois with us for awhile. Peace to your family.

So Sorry for your loss. I remember him and wife and children as young girl . I have great memories hang out and play with the girl my prayers are with the family ( I’m Jewel granddaughter)
Butch was my little buddy, I loved him like a brother. We had good times working out at Camp Robinson and hunting together down south was the highlight of my year. He was a hoot. I will miss you my little buddy. Joe
