Jerry Wayne Johnson, age 62

Jerry Wayne Johnson, 62, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2020. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Chuck and Billie Dean Johnson.

Jerry was an avid lover of sports and hunting. He was gentle, kind, and loved to have a good time. He was great with kids and all kids loved him. He had many friends and was always smiling, laughing, and joking.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Dean Fecher Johnson; father, James W. (Chuck) Johnson; and brother, Billy Don Johnson.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Janna Bowman of Sherwood; granddaughter, Madyson Bowman of Sherwood; brother, Charles Johnson (Jan) of Cabot; partner, Robyn Davis of Jacksonville; nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A Family hosted graveside service will be at Rest Hills Cemetery, 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, Arkansas on September 9th, 2020 at 3:00pm.

In light of the current health concerns Jerry’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

    Robin my thoughts and prayers are with you.. Jerry was a wonderful man and enjoyed life to the fullest He will be missed .by all of his grocery family and customers..
