Mary Louise Thomas, 83, of North Little Rock went to be with Jesus on September, 24 2020. She was born May, 25 1937 to Lona Mae and Lonnie Franklin Hester.
Mary, everyone called her Louise, worked as a clerk at Prudential Insurance before retiring early to care for her ailing daughter. She loved her family and her husband. She especially loved her great grandchildren. After her daughter’s passing, she became the strong matriarch in her family.
Mary Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Lona and Lonnie Hester, her daughter, Terri Lynn Peeples, and her sister, Billie Coffelt.
She is survived by her husband, Sunday Thomas, her brother, Thomas Hester and her grandchildren; Robert Peeples IV, Timothy Peeples and Megan Handy. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Tristan Peeples, Skylar Rae, Jeremy Rae Jr., Carter Peeples, Connor Handy, Tabor Handy and Titan Handy.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery Park, 2101 Barber Street, Little Rock, Arkansas.

We are so sorry to learn of Louise’s homegoing. She was a special sister-in-law and we always enjoyed our visits. Love the picture with Terri, Grandma Smith and Louise. May the Lord give you comfort and strength for the days ahead as you learn to do life without her. Hugs to all.
