Eleanor G. Childress Sanders, age 95, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on October, 8 2020. She was born on January 4, 1925 to Frederick Payne Childress and Barbara Taliaferro Marks Childress in New Edinburg, Arkansas.
Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone. She devoted her life to raising and caring for her family.
She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist church and supporter of Friendly Chapel in North Little Rock.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Troy Sanders Sr; and son John Troy Sanders Jr.
Eleanor leaves behind her children Deborah LaCour (Aaron); daughter in law Karla Sanders; grandchildren Angela Bortowski (Michael), Erin Sanders, and Luke Rhoden; and two great grandchildren Jonathan and Benjamin Bortowski
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel in North Little Rock.

Mrs. Eleanor was so sweet. I enjoyed her and Mr. John so much when I worked. They always brightened my day when they came to the bank. May the Lord bring you peace and comfort now that your Mom has her wings and is with Mr. John.
