Justin Scot Downer, 56, of Jacksonville passed away on October 4, 2020. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 18, 1963 to the late Calvin Jay and Arleigh Joan (Sample) Downer.
He was a wonderful boyfriend and friend who loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his hobby of woodworking. He enjoyed being outside while hiking, camping, arrow head and rock collecting.
He leaves behind his loving girlfriend Karen S. Lyda; his siblings Kim Roberson (Cliff) of Roberson, Texas, Clyde Downer (Debbie) of Colorado and Logan Downer (Velda) of Colorado; a host of extended family and friends.

“Uncle Dud” – my brother and I have a lot of great memories with Justin. His memory will live on by those who he impacted. I’ll never forget his infectious laugh.
