Hal Eugene “Gene” Gass, age 64

Hal Eugene “Gene” Gass, 64, of Beebe passed away on November 9, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Tampa, Florida on October 13, 1956 to the late Edsel and Betty (Bodiford) Gass.

He was a loving stepfather, grandfather, brother and friend.  He proudly served in the United States Army.  He loved to take fishing trips and was ready for anyone to play a game of golf on the Wii.

He is preceded in death by his wife Vicki Gass and brother John Owens.

Gene leaves behind his children Kelly Emerson of Newport, Arkansas, Darrell Pettey (Polly) of Ward, Arkansas, and Woodrow Pettey of Orange Beach, Alabama; his grandchildren Collin, Vanessa, Valarey, Kylah, Barrett, C.J. Samantha and Kohen; 5 great-grandchildren; his brother James Gass (Cheryl) of Bryant, Arkansas and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2020, at 2:00 PM with graveside services to begin at 3:00 PM at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 404 West DeWitt Henry Drive, Beebe, Arkansas.
