Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Tommy Sentell, age 82

Tommy Sentell age 82 of Austin, Arkansas, was called to heaven on November 3, 2020.  He was born September 19, 1938 at the home of the Sentell family farm located on Sentell Loop in Austin, to parents married for 76 years, the late Uless and Lois Sentell.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife Rae Sentell of 38 years and by his loving family; Shelly Sentell Jones and Husband of Hot Springs, Susan Sentell Long and Brian Perry of Benton,

Tammy Sentell Scully and Husband of California, Rory Seymore and Wife of Arizona, Stacy Seymore and Wife of Arizona, Vicki McDonough and Husband of Arizona and 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all filled with love.

Tommy honorably served in the Military.  He was proud of his service in the military and enjoyed being an active member in the local Veteran of Foreign War post #4548 and the Moose Lodge post #942.  He immensely enjoyed his community and helping others for over six decades through hard work and dedication.  Everyone that knew Tommy loved and admired him for being a man of his word.  He greatly loved his family and lived a wonderful life to the fullest with his children and wife.  They enjoyed traveling and dancing their way around this beautiful country.  A great sense of humor always enabled him to never meet a stranger.  The family and friends are deeply blessed with many years of fun filled memories.

In light of the current health concerns, Tommy’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM and graveside service at 12:00 PM. at 16th Section Cemetery, 10277 Hwy 319, Austin, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers for the service, please forward your contributions in my honor to the “Youth Group” at Baugh Chapel Baptist Church.  5570 Hwy. 319 Austin AR, 72007. 501.284.0297

Todd and Tammy, please find comfort in knowing that your father is in Glory. The apostle Paul wrote, “For we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. We live with a joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at home with the Lord” (2 Cor. 5:7-8 TPT).
