Chet Charles William Carson, 84, of Cabot, passed away on January 26, 2021. He was born October 27, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Jack Carson and Minnie Smith.
Chet was self-employed as a wood worker for fifteen years. He also loved animals especially bird watching and working on his computer.
Chet is preceded in death by his parents Jack Carson and Minnie Smith; stepson Douglas White. Chet leaves behind his loving wife Shirley Carson; daughter Brenda Sorrells; Grandchildren Amanda and Justin McMahan; and one brother.
Chet’s visitation will be Monday February 1, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM at
Sumner cemetery in Cabot. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM.
In light of the current health concerns, Chet’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place
