Tawalla Jones, age 54

Tawalla Dawn Jones, 54 of Lonoke, born May 20, 1966 went to be with the Lord and to reunite in the arms of her husband, Jim Jones as well as her parents and brother; Paula, Elmer and Baby Mark Shaeffer along with other family and friends on December 27, 2020.

She leaves behind daughter Debra Ballard, son in law Chris Jackson; Grandchildren: Jaydon, Talon, Christopher, and Mariah Jackson; Her son Bryan Ballard, daughter in law Brandy Ballard; Grandchildren Spenser and Layne Ballard. She leaves another daughter Shae Ballard and a sister Kim Adler and many aunts, nieces, and nephews as well as many friends and children she has claimed as her own throughout the years.

Tawalla was a wonderful daughter, mother, nanna, wife, and friend here in her time, but mostly she loved the Lord and now rests in his Heavenly kingdom. She had a long hard battle here but no longer feels any pain but just joy and eternal bliss.

Her services will be January 6, 2021 at Glover cemetery in Lonoke at 10 a.m. In light of the current health concerns, Tawalla’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

    I’m so very sorry for the loss of Tawalla. You are all in my heart and prayers. Due to my own cancer battle I am unable to visit or attend her service. May God comfort and guide each of you as you go forward in this life.

    My thoughts and prayers with all the family! I loved Tawalla with all my heart! Haven’t got to see her in years but we had some good old times! Until we meet again u hold that corner for me!! Lol! God bless Luv Melissa Neeley
