Nell Jane McCormack (Staton), age 89, of Conway, Arkansas passed peacefully from this life at home on February 2, 2021.
A native of Logan County, Arkansas, Nell Jane was born on July 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Joe L. Staton and Elizabeth Lucile Hicks (Staton). Nell Jane was a dedicated Dietician throughout her career life and even earned a Masters Degree in Dietary Sciences in 1989. She was a Christian that firmly believed in her family and thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world.
Nell Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Aubrey Lee McCormack, Her husband of 3 years Paul Ombruni, Her brothers (Lesley, Robert, Joe, Bill, and Jim Staton). Nell Jane is survived by her son Barron D. McCormack and his wife Marla McCormack, Grandsons Jacob and Samuel McCormack, her husband, Don Hunolt, and a Step Son, David Ombruni of Omaha, Nebraska Nell Jane is survived by several nieces and nephews most of whom reside in the Magazine, Arkansas area.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Nell Jane at a future date. Internment will follow at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, Nell Jane wished for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
