Rose Diane Hoefar, age 72

Rose Diane Hoefar was born on January 18, 1949 and went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2021. Diane was proceeded in death by her husband, Dale LeRoy Hoefar, her father, Elmer LeHew, her mother, Laquita “Joy” Wilemon and two sisters, Pamela Counts and Teresa LeHew.  She is survived by two daughters, Charmane Marks, Cynthia Wilemon, her life-long friend Robert Burr Cordell, Sr., three sisters, Brenda VanOstrand, Lisa LeHew, Shari Simmons and one brother, Allen LeHew.  She has six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Diane was a resident of Lonoke, AR.  She worked and retired from the Lonoke County Court House.  Diane was the glue that held our family together. She enjoyed life to the fullest.  She loved baking, cooking and providing for others. Her greatest joy in life was helping those who were in need. She was a living example of love in action. Diane truly gave of herself for the good of others expecting nothing in return. She was talented at writing and wrote her thoughts and advice in journals. She loved traveling and visiting her family and friends, winning at the casinos, and going to flea markets. Diane enjoyed shopping and would often buy more than she needed to provide to others. Diane was a wonderful singer and would sometimes sing at events, as well as, for her family who greatly enjoyed her beautiful voice. Diane was loved deeply by all that knew her and although she has left this world, her example of love that she has passed on to those who knew her will live on as her legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make donations in memory of Rose Diane Hoefar to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
