I haven’t seen John since high school. When I think of him the adjectives that come to mind are friendly, funny, genuine, upbeat and I am sure he kept those character strengths the rest of his life. RIP fellow paperboy.

    Leann,
I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. You and your family are in my prayers. May the Lord bring you peace, tranquility, and strength. I really appreciate your detailed updates on John’s treatments. John (we called him JP back in the school days) was a very, very good friend growing up. He was such a happy go lucky guy, and I am very fortunate to have grown up with him in Echo Valley.

    JP,
I will see you again someday! Thank you for the great memories. You touched the entire Howlett family. Those were great times growing up with you in Echo Valley. We had a lot of fun. You always wanted to take your car, and it was always an exciting ride. I understand why you enjoyed NASCAR. RIP Buddy!

    Linda and Suzanne,
It breaks my heart that JP has passed away. May God carry you through your loss.
JP was such a good friend to me and my family. I remember hanging out with JP at the swimming pool in Echo Valley. I remember spending time at your house as we grew up. We spent time together at my house and cruising all over central Arkansas. When JP saw my red truck at Mom’s and Dad’s house, he would stop and visit. It was always good to see JP. The Howlett family loved JP.
