We did not know Dustin , but we regret your loss and sorrow. My wife and I have lost sons a about the same age as him and we want you to know that you can endure this pain as you go through the “valley of the shadow of death.”
We found that each person grieves in a unique way and time, so we encourage you to recognize and allow that in your families. As time passes you will be able to recall times of happiness with your Dustin and that will help you deal with the loss.
We found a helpful program called “Grief Share” that’s available in many towns that are listed on the website http://www.griefshare.org .
We are of the Christian faith and we dealt with our pain of loss based on our belief that God is still sovereign, even when we don’t understand tragedy. We hope that friends will share with you their memories of the good times with him..
