Helen Lizet Membreno, 26

Helen Lizet Membreno, 26, passed away April 4, 2021. She was born January 1, 1995 in Los Angeles, California to Rene Gomez and Mirna Membreno-Gomez.

Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, playing videos games, collecting Pokémon Cards, and attending concerts. She was a loving aunt who enjoyed spoiling all of her nieces and nephews. She was always more concerned about others than herself. She devoted the last 5 months in taking care of her mother after her father’s passing. She attended Southern Arkansas University where she was studying to become a Radiology Technician and only lacked a year until graduation. Helen was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Magnolia.

Helen is preceded in death by her father Rene Gomez, grandfather Jose Rene Gomez and grandmother Mari Ines Membreno.

Helen leaves behind her mother Mirna Gomez; her brothers and sisters: Steven (Kris) Membreno, Alexander Velasquez, Yahaira Velasquez, Yesenia Velasquez, Soraya Velasquez, Sobeyda Velasquez, Christian Gomez, Mayra Gomez, and Edwin Gomez; and many other family and friends to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be Friday, April 16, 2021 from 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville. Catholic Mass will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11am at St Anne Catholic Church, 6150 Remount Road, North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8507 AR-161, North Little Rock.

In light of the current health concerns, Helen’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines. All guests in attendance will be required to wear masks, and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
