Yolande Roberta Jolley, 85, of Little Rock passed away on September 17, 2020. She was born March 5, 1935 in Jerome, Arizona to Benjamin Dale Muzzy and Ruth Lenore Muzzy.
Yolande was a loving mother and had many friends. She went to high school and lived most of her life in Mountain View, AR. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ for over 45 years in churches. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View for more than 50 years. During her working career she was an Abstracter as the co-owner of Muzzy Abstract Company, a kindergarten teacher for four years, and a high school teacher for 28 years. She had a Bachelors degree in Home Economics from Texas Wesleyan and a Masters in Special Education from University of Central Arkansas. She loved her students was very persistent in helping them to succeed. She was involved at church in Awanas, GA’s, and youth groups.

She loved the Lord and was a Believer. She was married for 61 years to James A. Jolley, Jr.

Yolande is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Jeffrey Edwin Jolley. Yolande is survived by her sisters Betty Lumbley, Sharon Owens, son, James Robert Jolley; daughter-in-law, Diane Jolley; and  grandchildren, Trent Allan and Andrew Vitaliy Jolley.

Her memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View. After the memorial service, lunch and visitation will be at the Wing Shack. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. The recommended lodging for those coming from out of town is the Pinewood Cabins in Mountain View.
