Bonnie Rosa Lee (Hollingsworth) Kline, 79

Bonnie Rosa Lee (Hollingsworth) Kline, 79, passed away May 17, 2021. She was born November 11, 1941 in Alexandria, Indiana.

Bonnie married Paul Kline on May 26, 1962 in Alexandria, Indiana. She moved to Arkansas in 1994 because she needed a warmer climate since she had a disease called Raynaud’s. Also, she had two sisters, nieces and nephews in Arkansas.

Preceded in death by her parents Arthur J. and Edna L. Hollingsworth; one brother, Paul A. Hollingsworth; and two sisters, Enola Davis, and Elesha Knox. There are 3 surviving sisters: Cheryl Sneed of Jasper, Indiana; LaVerna Truitt of Thorntown, Indiana; and Shelba Edens of Elwood, Indiana; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bonnie worked in Child Daycare for many years. She was active in her church until she was no longer able due to a leg amputation. She loved to teach children in Sunday School, worked on the Prime Time council at Jacksonville Church of the Nazarene. She and her sister Elesha loved to create decorations for special occasions. Over the years Bonnie loved to make doll clothes. When Cabbage Patch Dolls were popular, she made and sold Cabbage Patch dolls.

Bonnie loved crocheting doilies and gave several to family and friends at Christmas or just because she wanted to.

Bonnie’s Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service, Jacksonville. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm. Interment will be in Old Austin Cemetery, Austin, Arkansas.

    I only knew Miss Bonnie for a short time. I feel so blessed to have been able to spend this time with her. I know she will be so missed by family and friends. Prayers for you all.

    My heart was saddened to have received this news. I didn’t know Bonnie long but just loved her. Frank and I have been praying for she and Paul ever since she got sick. We know she’s in a better place where the cold is no longer a bother and Jesus is the warmth of her soul!!

    Bonnie was a special lady and always had a smile on her face. The short time I knew her I loved her. She’s with our Lord and Savior today. Prayers for the family.
