Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Rachel Jean Furby Gallagher, age 72

Rachel Jean Furby Gallagher, of Mayflower AR, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior April 30, 2021.

Rachel was born August 22, 1948 to the late Earnest and Leona Furby.

Rachel had 4 great loves on this earth, Jesus, her children, her grandchildren, and her puppies. Rachel’s prayer was that everyone she loved has a relationship with Our Father in Heaven, so that we will all be reunited again in Glory.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Leona; Her brothers, Buck, Billy Tincy, and Winfred and her sister Faye.

Rachel leaves behind her children, Angela, Dale, Kevin (Amanda), Amanda, Robert, and Brian, and Ronnie (Belinda); Her grandchildren; Dustin, Timmy, Samantha, Keane, Seth, Alexis, Kyle, Jayce, and Isabella; and her only great grandson, Damon, and 2 sisters, Betty and Louise.

Rachel has asked that instead of flowers, make donations to the building fund at Mayflower First Baptist church in her memory. The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and Dr. Ken Hall for taking such gentle care with her in her final moments, Dr. Sue Tsuda and her staff at Conway Hemotology Oncology for fighting her cancer just as hard as we did, and Dr. J. Craig Cummins at Banister Lieblong for his kindness and care. We would also like to thank First Baptist Church Mayflower for the prayers, support and kindness throughout this difficult time.

Memorial service will be Saturday May 8, 2021 at 1 pm at Mayflower First Baptist Church in Mayflower AR, officiated by Bro. Chris Satterwhite.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400
