Relda “Jo” Freeman, 82

Relda “Jo” Freeman, 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas joined her heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born on April 30, 1938 to the late Frank S and Bobbi Knowles, in Cunningham, Kansas. 

She attended Lakeside School where she met Royce “Leon” Freeman, whom she married on January 18, 1957. She retired from the City of Hot Springs after twenty-two years. 

Jo is preceded in death by her parents and husband; sisters Ann Parks, Pat Tilsley, and her brother; Lee Knowles. 

She is survived by her sister; Helen Hoffman, her children; Jennie Martin, Jeff Freeman (Donna), John Freeman (Tish), and Jerry Freeman (Angela), six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Lon (Barbara), Nancy, Naaman (Nikki), Jim Tilsley, and Virginia Knowles, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with church family and friends. 

Jo was a longtime faithful member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A memorial time and date are pending. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1534 Shady Grove Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901.
