Betty June Hennen, age 89, of Cabot, Arkansas left this earth and joined her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2021. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 16, 1931 to the late Raymond Lee Smith and Ruby Patterson- Smith.
Despite a very challenging upbringing, Betty overcame all her struggles with God by her side. She taught herself to craft and loved quilting and knitting. Betty was an amazing cook. She loved her family and especially spending time with them.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, son John O. Hennen III, grandson-in-law Steve, and great-grandchildren Wade and Shiloh Carnathan.
Betty is survived by her children Cindy (Don) Egbert, Mickey Roper, Becky (Randy) Southerland, Susan (Alan) Casteel, and Tommy (Becky) Hennen; her grandchildren Don (Kim) Egbert Jr, Holly (Jeff) Leonard, Heidi (Daniel) Woodcock, Andy Southerland, Amy (Allen) Bullock, Sarah (Josiah) McCarthy, Rachel (Carson) Hallam, and Bethany Hennen; 25 great-grandchildren; and host of family, church family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 at Bible Missionary Church located at 3001 Military Road in Jacksonville. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery.
