Beverly Jean Payne Agee, age 83, of Cabot Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 31, 2021.
Beverly was born September 16, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Floyd and Lavon Payne. She attended Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and continued her education at Ouachita Baptist University. After college, Beverly worked with her father in his appliance and service business gaining the experience she would need to later open and manage her own successful business, Royal Business Machines. Beverly and Sam were married on April 25, 1958. She also worked side by side with her husband for many years in their family business Royal Color Graphics. Beverly was lifelong learner, an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. In her younger years she enjoyed water skiing & roller skating. In recent years her favorite pastime was visiting with her Red Oak family on the back porch and having people come over to their house. You won’t find a more hospitable couple than Sam & Bev – thru the years they invested their lives in people even to the point that some of them lived with them for a period of time. She loved her Lord, being involved in Sunday School, Bible studies and doing activities with her church family.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Sam Agee, brother Don (Sherry) Payne of Wichita Falls Tx; her children Tanya (James) Emery of Buhler KS, Jay (Michelle) Agee of Cabot AR, Scott (Elesia) Agee of Warrior Alabama, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. Also mourning their loss is her very special Red Oak family and her church family at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Floyd Payne, and her mother Lavon Lumsdon Yepez.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas at 6pm, on Saturday June 5, 2021.

What’ a delight Bev & Sam & Jay were to work with at Royal Graphics when I was with IGI Catalog Dept. They were always so helpful and fun too! Sam and family, my heartfelt sympathies. I pray you all know and feel the wonderful love and comfort of our Lord Jesus Christ now and through these hard times. I have thought of you all many times through the years.
Absolutely everyone loved Beverly and you didn’t see her without Sam. They were a wonderful couple. She will be sorely missed. Such a sweet, kind, giving person.
Sammy sorry for your loss. Beverly has always been special. The last time I saw the two of you, was at Sams Club on Landers Road. I had not seen you in a few years, but she still gave me a hug. I think you were dating when we both were working at Parking Printing on Main Street in Little Rock. Many good memories.Duchess and I are thinking of you.
I remember Bev and Sam from years ago when they lived in Sherwood. I also knew Sam through IGI. They were dedicated to their work which made their businesses successful.
My heart is broken at the loss of my long time friend. She was a wonderful person and friend and will be missed by every single person whose life she touched. I know Heaven needed another Angel.
Beverly and I were playmates on South Martin until we moved in 1946; however, her dad continued to service my folk’s appliances after we moved, so I was able to keep up with Beverly. We reconnected in the 1970’s as we were both had business machine dealerships. Sam, that was when I met you, and enjoyed over 30 years working with you and Beverly in our industry. Congratulations for getting to share your lives together for 63 years. I have missed not seeing you both in recent years. Have a great celebration of Beverly’s life with God’s blessings.
