You excepted me as part of your family 29 years when I married your son JJ. I couldn’t have asked for a better father in law. I love and miss you terribly but I know you are in a better place. Give our 4 daughters hugs for us and tell them we love them and that you are their grandpa they never got to meet on earth. RIP.

My sister and I went to school with JJ and Andy. Mr. McCready would come pick us up and let all of his kids play together. I remember one time it snowed and he took us to the school and let us play in the snow we had a snowball fight. He didn’t have to invest that time in our lives, but he did. He made a difference in my life even though I never got to tell him. Thank you Mrs. Glenda, JJ, and Andy for sharing your time with two girls from the other side of the tracks.

Mr Jerry was a kind soul that anyone would have been lucky to be around. You knew you were loved by him the minute you walked in his front door. Thankful we got to grow up around him and know him all our lives. He considered all of us kids his grand children even though we were technically his blood. You never knew he struggled physically, he never let those battles show on the outside, his spirit was High no matter what and most of All He loved the Lord and professed it daily.
I’ll miss the random Facebook group messages He would include me in that said nothing more than “have a great day or that He loved all of us in Jesus’s name.”

I know he’s rejoicing in eternity without pain in the presence of His Lord and Savior

Mr. Mccready was one of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever known in my entire life. I will always be grateful for some of the things this family did for me as a young person lost in the world. I was just a kid back then and he taught me so many things. I knew back then and know to this day that his life has been nothing short of a miracle. My deepest condolences and prayers goes out to the family.
