On Friday, July 2, 2021, Edna Mae Sheets, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed peacefully at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her Parents William & Inez Cole, baby sister Bobbie Jean, brother in law Terry Rains & sister in law Lori Cole.
She is survived by her sisters Rachel (Donald) Brooks, Betty Rains, brother Art Cole, daughters Mary (Dennis) Dollar, Wanda (Charles) Mooney and Joyce (Charles) Massey along with 4 grandchildren, a niece & nephews and great nieces and nephew.
Edna graduated Lonoke High School in 1959. She retired from Maybelline after 28 years of faithful service during which time she battled and beat breast cancer. She was a life-long member of Panola Missionary Baptist Church, where in her younger days she was known for many potluck dishes to include fruit cocktail cake with brown sugar icing. Edna Mae enjoyed sewing, traveling and working word & jigsaw puzzles after reading her Bible.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 6-8 pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10 am at Panola Missionary Baptist Church, 972 S. Kerr Road in Lonoke, Arkansas, 72086 with interment immediately following at Concord Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, American Cancer society or receiver of donators choice.

What a sweet soul that Heaven has gained! Her daughter Wanda is a testament to her sweet spirit and loving countenance! May The Angels sing Edna Mae into her spiritual home!
