Hurvy Jerrell Harris, 74, of Hickory Plains, passed away June 30, 2021 after fighting cancer for several years.
Born in Morrilton on November 25, 1946 Jerrell graduated from Bryant high School and later certified as a gemologist, working for jewelers in Little Rock and Nashville. He also demonstrated personable and notable management skills while working in auto sales, home improvement, and as events facilitator to the Arkansas Old State House.
He is survived by his son Chris Harris of Arkansas; daughters, Michelle Harris of California, Krystal Harris and Meagan Harris of Arkansas; grandchildren Justin, Cole, Jackson, Hilton, Hallie, Cruz, and Ellie; and three great-grandchildren Layton, Easton, and Zellie.
Jerrell’s zest for living and his willingness to help others in their time of need continues to inspire those who knew him.
