Our hearts were broken on August 25, 2021, when Kristin Lynn Self, 53, of Rosebud, AR, passed away after a sudden illness. Kristin was welcomed into this world on March 17, 1968, as the first child of Gary & Lani Self. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we are comforted knowing she is now with loved ones who have gone before her. She is survived by her son, Stephen Glenn Newberry, of Austin, TX; daughter, Tara Watson (Clint), of Kemp, TX; son, Gavin Lee Newberry, of Rosebud, AR; her mother, Lani Lee Black, of Cabot, AR; sister, Danyelle Decker, North Little Rock, AR; grandsons, Cayson, Jakeus and Raiden (born 8/31/21); the love of her life, David Heedrick, his sons, Aaron and Israel, and his parents Vergil and Wilma Heedrick; and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved camping, fishing, horseback riding, and her dog, Zeda.
