Marlis Dale Wheeler, age 76, of Jacksonville, Arkansas formally of Conway passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. She was born in Hays, Kansas on October 22, 1944 to Claude E Cato and Orilla Price.
She loved spending time with her family and friends. Marlis also enjoyed painting, playing piano, and volunteering at Fishnet Missions Thrift Store.
Marlis is preceded in death by her parents Claude E and Orilla Cato.
She will be missed by her husband Thomas Wheeler; children Wayne Brown (Shannon), Angela Lott (Carl), Tommy Brown (Cindy), Tammy Duke (PhilRoy), Bryon Brown (Michelle), and Josiah Wheeler (Timothy Kessler); many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Ferrell Cato (Janie) and Mike Cato (Paulette).
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Military Road Baptist Church, 2101 Military Road in Jacksonville.
