Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Richard Lee House, age 64

Richard Lee House(Rick), age 64, of Rosebud, Arkansas passed into the heaven on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from COVID, listening to Norman Greenbalm’s “Spirit in the Sky.” Rick was born on June 20, 1957 in Little Rock, Ark. to parents Grover L. House, Jr. and Mary Alice House, now of Lake Conway, who survive him. Rick was one of the most talented men we ever knew. He grew up in the NLR Baseball program, DeMolay, and graduated from Sylvan Hills High School. He could paint cars and do body work, weld and work steel, repair and rebuild any kind of engine or motor, fix any boat, engineer stage lighting and sound systems, and was a licensed barber. He was an incredible and talented singer and guitar playing musician. Rick not only played locally over the years with his bands, but also professionally toured the Southeast United States. He and his bands cranked up the crowds, opening for such greats as ZZ Top and Joe Walsh.  But best of all he was a lay music minister in several churches. Rick knew Jesus, was saved and baptized, and Jesus loved Rick’s music. When he sang “I Can Only Imagine” there was not a dry eye in the place. Rick loved and is also survived by his Granddaughter Juniper Maylee McLaughlan, Daughters Mikayla Briana House (Sean McLaughlan) of Pangburn, Briley Borden House of Searcy, his brothers Douglas House (Anita) of Cato, Donald Wayne House of Rosebud and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. Due to the pandemic the family will have a private ceremony at a later time. The family thanks all of you for your prayers, cards and calls and hope that fond memories of Rick will also fill that empty place.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com

Deepest sympathy to the House family. What a beautifully written tribute. Rick was a talented man who lived a full life until he was called home too soon. The family has many rich memories to remember him by

Rick was my friend and fellow musician. I learned so much from Rick when playing music together or just sitting around and talking about anything. He was one of a kind and top-notch guy. I will miss him greatly.

Rick has been a dear friend for many years ❤ I will miss you, your smile and laugh. You were such a talented person, in so many aspects, many not mentioned. There would be a book if all your attributes were all written down. You left too soon
I’m glad you have no more pain
    Love you
