Roger Lee Ripper, age 67

Roger Lee Ripper, age 67, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. He was born on December 19, 1953 in Clarendon, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Helen Ripper; brother William Ripper; and nephew Leif Eric.

Lee is survived by his daughters Jessica Ripper and Miranda Baker (Brad); grandchildren Weston Baker, Carson Baker, Katelyn Handley, and Gage Handley; sisters Rosemary Harper and Faye Lyons; and many more family members and friends.

Lee was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He loved playing music, especially in his band, he played guitar and bass. Lee also loved fishing.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

    I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Lee. I have many many fond memories of growing up with his girls and I love them dearly. Lee taught me a lot about playing guitar and appreciating good music. Prayers for peace and comfort for Miranda and Jessica. Rest In Peace, Mr Breeze

    Lee was one of my dearest and closest friends in my youth growing up in Marianna. Although I had lost touch with him over the years, I remember the great times we had. I’ll miss you old friend. May the Lord comfort his children and grandchildren.
