Shirley Maudine Burr Orillion, age 82

Shirley Maudine Burr Orillion was born December 9, 1938 in Leesville, LA and passed away August 3rd, 2021 in North Little Rock, AR at the age of 82.

She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, AR. She was a faithful servant of God from the age of 13 until her passing. Her passion was attending church, reading the Bible completely through every year for over 30 years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Robert Columbus Burr and Tessie Emma Addison Burr; brother Robert “Harold” Burr; sisters Clara Bell Shockley, Windle Laverne McConahay, and Angie Marie Fiscus.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Neil Kenneth Orillion and wife Melanie of North Little Rock, AR; granddaughters Shelby and Hannah Orillion along with a host of extended family.

Officiants include Reverend Paul Mettlen, Reverend Nathan Holmes, Bishop Joel Holmes, and Reverend Wayne Pitts.

Pallbearers include Wayne Pitts, Chris Bailey, Ronnie Dollar, Herbert Pete, Brian Clayton, and Alton White. Honorary pallbearers include Jay Dollar and James Mart.

Funeral Service will be held at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72116, on Saturday August 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Gravel Ridge Cemetery.

    So thankful I obeyed the Lord and took my friend to church for her last service. She so loved the House of God.. Her favorite place to be. We stayed at church all day that Sunday. She was an inspiration to me.
