William “Crickett” Allen Whittenburg, age 62

William “Crickett” Allen Whittenburg, 62, passed away August 7, 2021. He was born March 9, 1959 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Herman Lewis Whittenburg and Laura Ruth Treadway.

William honorably served in the United State Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all William loved spending time with his family.

William is preceded in death by his parents Lewis Whittenburg and Laura Venable; and his mother-in-law Patricia Reeves.

William is survived by his wife of 42 years Alice; his brother James Alberson (Lori) of Biscoe, AR; five nephews; four nieces; six great nephews; five great nieces; three great-great nephews; and many more family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00am on Saturday August 14, 2021 at First Baptist Church 444 N. Dixon in Biscoe. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am.

    So sorry to hear this. I remember a summer when we were living in Biscoe when dad was overseas. All us kids ran the streets and played hard. The best year of my life. He was a great cousin. Silent .. goofy and strong. My prayers go out to his family.
