Billy Joe Williams, “Big Joe” 88, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away September 28, 2021. He was born May 8, 1933, in Boydale, Arkansas to the late William Lunsford Williams and Annie Mae Williams.
Billy was a member of Church of Christ, an avid fisherman, salesman, and jokester. He was a very generous man who loved country music and diet Dr. Pepper, could sell Ice to an Eskimo, and loved his food cooked in a cast iron skillet.
Billy is proceeded in death by his wife Joyce V. Williams, his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Billy leaves behind his children Diane (Kevin) Covell of Sherwood and J.W. (Rita) Williams of North Little Rock; sister Nancy Ruth Holton of West Monroe, Louisiana; Grandchildren Michael Miller of Cabot, Mandy Gray of North Little Rock, and Katie Marie Williams of Bryant; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 11:30 – 12:30 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Hills Cemetery, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Over the years I know Ms Diane who I have known many years would talk about all the wonderful times she shared with her daddy. She just glowed talking about her sweet mom and dad. Mr Williams was called home but has left family and friends here with I know many awesome stories / memories until one day he reunites with his family again .
