Carlo A Bontempo Jr passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at his son’s residence in Jacksonville, AR. He was 84. He was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport and West Norriton, PA where he was a co-owner of Central Cleaners with his father in King Manor. He also was a contract postal service driver for over thirty years until he retired. He was well liked by everyone on his route.
Born in Norristown, PA on June 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Carlo A Sr. and Rose Bontempo. Carlo is preceded in death by his wife Dolly M (Jenny) Bontempo; brothers Andrew and John Bontempo. Surviving is his loving family including a son Benny Bontempo, and wife Karen; a daughter, Carol Rodenbaugh; three grandchildren; Valerie (Angel) Ramirez, Eric (Darya) Bontempo and Kevin Bontempo: two great-grandsons, Lorenzo and Leo; sister Teresa Primeaux of Lafayette, LA; and many other loving family members.
Carlo’s family would like to express their appreciation for the fine care Arkansas Hospice provided.
In lieu of flowers Carlo’s family asks that donations be made to Arkansas Hospice.
