Harrison Harnden, age 87 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 27, 2021. Harrison will be missed by all that knew him. He was a resident of Fairfield Bay AR. He is survived his children A Rose Pullen, George Harnden and Emily Fox, and Jean L Iordanou grandchildren and great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean L Harnden, and his parents Ira Wing Harnden and Louise Kathryn Davenport Harnden. Harrison served his country in the US Air Force. For over 50 years he was a Pastor, Teacher and Coach.
Receiving of family and friends on Nov. 22, 2021 at 8:30 AM. at Woden Christian Church. Celebration of Life services for Harrison will be held on Nov. 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM. at Woden Christian Reformed Church, internment to follow. Stan Limberg will be officiating.

Marcia and I have fond memories of Harrison and Jean from their time in Cedar Falls. We and several young couples were serving our first churches in that classis, and Harrison and Jean were wonderful friends and mentors to us. They hosted gatherings of pastors or pastors’ wives in their home on many occasions. I personally deeply appreciated his wisdom, intellect and encouragement. Our condolences to the family. God bless.
