Jesse D. Way, age 66 of Ward, Arkansas passed at 2:32 A.M. on Tuesday morning on August 31, 2021.
He was born March 20, 1955 to Orelious E. Way and Claudia E. Way in Crestview, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dixie L. Way, (Raffensberger) of 32 years; daughters Cathy Frane and Dodi Pipkin (Donald Pipkin); Grandson Michael Pipkin.
His siblings – Donald E. Way (deceased), Debra Way Goldsmith, David O. Way, Fred A. Way, and Anthony D. Way.
He served proudly in the USMC from 1972-1980.
He passed peacefully after his battle with cancer, surrounded by his wife, daughter, and son-in-law.
He will forever be remembered as “Popola”, a true Santa at Christmas, and a loving older brother.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6-8 P.M. at Faith Baptist Church, 301 Bill Foster Memorial Highway, Cabot, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church at 11 A.M.
