Leonard, I know your heart is broken. I will miss the special friendship that she and I had. She was loved by many.

It is with great sorrow I write this to a family I love. Sandy and I were great friends for many years enjoying each others company with a lot of travel and activity. Sharing the joys and aggravation of raising teenagers while having careers of our own as well as busy husbands working hard in their careers. We have not visited as much as we did in the past but that did not reduce the affection we had for Sandy and Leonard. I loved this family then, I love them now and they will be in my heart until I leave this world. Leonard, young Leonard, Sandi and Luci, I feel your pain and pray for you that you find comfort and peace. It takes a while but many are pulling for you. I love you, Jeanie

Leonard, deepest sympathy to you and your family. I first met Sandra when you & I studied together at Fayetteville and I especially remember her friendliness and know she will be greatly missed.
