Gregory Scott Prince, age 55

Gregory Scott Prince, age 55, of Jacksonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 21, 2021.  He was born January 19, 1966, son of the late Freddie Eugene Prince and Mildred Rhodes Prince.

Scott was the kindest soul with a contagious smile, he never meet a stranger and was full of life. He love working at Cheryl’s Diner in Cabot and consider Mrs. Cheryl and co-workers as his extended family and would always tell us about what had transpired that day. In his past time he loved watching football; his favorite teams are the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Pittsburg Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Darleen Prince.  Left to cherish his memory are his bother Warren Bradley Prince, Jacksonville; sisters, Deborah Luna (Dale) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Dana West (Andy) of Cabot; aunts, Sarah Joines  of Little Rock, Gale Reamey of Little Rock, uncle, James Pay III of Cabot, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Scott will also be remembered by many friends in the deaf community including Don Craig, Richard Higgins and Donald Bond.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Deaf Fellowship Church P.O. Box 55053, Little Rock, and AR 72215-5053

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 under the Pavilion at Sumner Cemetery located at 13017 Sumner Cemetery Road in Cabot, Arkansas, 72023 with Graveside services following at 3 PM.

    I remembered his kindly smile and being so friendly . We had lots of laughs together at Gallaudet university in 1984. He will be sorely missed . May my deep condolences to his brother and sisters . Hugs

    RIP scott I loved working with you we was always playing tricks on each other I love you scott and going to miss you I am still haveing a hard time with you passing as of everyone at cheryl diner it has been hard to look at the dish pit and you not be there I will see you again

    Worked with Scott at THE DINER in Cabot Ar. Scott was always willing give us a hand when needed! Always took pride in what he was doing! He was polite to everyone he came in contact with! He tried to teach me sign language! Prayers for his family! May God comfort each one! Rest In Peace Scott!
