Mary Dean, 87, was born January 28, 1934 in Marshall, Arkansas and went to be with the Lord October 10, 2021.
Mary was a friend to all and a stranger to no one. Her time as “the Avon Lady” granted her the opportunity to travel the county, meet new people, and develop lifelong friends. She was a long time member of Floyd United Methodist Church and the Floyd Extension Homemakers Club, where she gave her time by serving the community she loved. Anyone that knew Mary knew she loved spending time reading or playing games with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Vestal Dean; her parents Elmer and Gladys Franks; and her brother Elmer Leland Franks.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Rick Epperson (Lari Ann) and Ronnie Dean; her grandchildren, Lori Domrase (Ricky), Ashley Dean, Emily Stroud (Sam), Alex Madesclaire (Mia), Taylor and Katie Dean; her great grandchildren, Dalton and Drew Domrase, Xander Benson, and Joanna Stroud; and a multitude of lifelong friends.
A family hosted celebration of life service will be held Saturday October 16, 2021 at the Floyd United Methodist Church located in Floyd, Arkansas at 1248 Hwy 31 Searcy, Arkansas 72143. The visitation will be at 9:00 AM with a service following at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Floyd United Methodist Church in memory of Mary Dean.
