Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Freda Martin Blair, 67

Freda Martin Blair, 67, of Bigelow, passed away November 26, 2021. She was born December 7, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Elbert Martin and Lois Hurst Martin.

Freda will be remembered for the cherished memories she has given us all. From her witty comebacks, her sometimes unsolicited advice, and especially the totes full of candy during the holidays. She always made sure there was something for everyone. She opened her home and her heart to anyone in need. From climbing trees, to growing up with so many brothers, she was as tough as they come. From the streets of West Little Rock, to the back roads of Perry County, everyone knew Freda, for no one was a stranger to her. Next to Freda’s warming heart, her deliciously famous pineapple up-side down cake will be dearly missed as well.

Freda is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Blair; her loving parents; brother’s Thomas Martin, George Martin, and Elbert “Bo” Martin; and sisters Modean Parks, Goldie Lee, and Julie Drinkwater.

Freda leaves behind her children Jessica Blair McEuen (Tim) and Jason Hill (Jennifer); grandchildren Alex, Kyle, Mackenzie, Emily, David, Julie, Kalyn, and Kris; great-grandson Tanner and great-granddaughter Oakley; siblings Delbert Martin and Robert Martin; and a host of family and friends.

Freda’s visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021 from 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:30am at Pleasant Valley General Baptist in Bigelow. Burial will be at Vollman Cemetery in Bigelow.

Arrangements entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400
