Jerry Wayne Guinn passed away peacefully at 3:10 PM on October 29, 2021, in his home and surrounded by loved ones. Jerry Wayne was born in El Dorado, AR on October 20, 1942.
Predeceased by his parents, Virgil C. and Geraldine Guinn, stepmother, Mildred Guinn, and brother Darrell Guinn.
Survived by his wife, Ruth Guinn. Lovingly remembered by his children, Cara Guinn, Andy (Candy) Guinn, Jerry (Andrea) Beasley, and Sandra Wesson; grandchildren, Ric (Laura), Keaton (Leslie), Kelsea (Derrick), Adam, Grace, Ben, Leah, and Deedee; great-grandchildren, Aspyn, Warner, Cheston, Kendon, Ella, Khai, Kash, Harlen, and Ansley; sister, Sue (Lester) Paxton; nieces; nephews; and many, many friends of whom he mentored and loved.
Jerry Wayne was quite a jokester and always managed to get a smile out of most folks. An avid hunter and fisherman of the south who took some of the best honey holes with him. He loved fast cars and motorcycles. He was an active member of Marrable Hill Chapel and a proud man of God who has lived in this community for most of life. He served in the Army National Guard of Arkansas and as a Reserve of the Army. He was a hard worker and proud owner of Mufflex Muffler Center.
Special thanks to Missy Tucker, Qurica Moody, Teresa Gage, and Life Touch Hospice for their tender care of JW in his time of need; and to the family and many friends that have embraced his wife, Ruth, and helped take care of her when he could not.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the TeamCorrie Foundation, Life Touch Hospice and Victory Bible Camp.
A celebration of his life will be held at Marrable Hill Chapel, 110 Chapel Ave, El Dorado, Arkansas on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 10 am.

O so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr Jerry Wayne. My daddy Gene Gathright, was one of his best friends. I remember them fishing together back in the day and me and daddy going up to the muffler shop to sit on his couch in the waiting room to visit him A LOT!! We spent a lot of time up there. Praying for the family!!

Cara, So sorry for the loss of your Dad. Justin was so sorry to hear that news and felt sad for your family. While I did not know your Dad, I know you, Andy and Candy are such nice people so feel sure you had a good daddy! Please extend our sympathy to your entire family, especially your mother!
Jerry Wayne was one of the greatest people to visit with.
He was a great Christian person and would let you know how much he loved his church.
It is a big loss but he is a very happy person now .

What fond memories I have of Jerry Wayne while we worked together at Lion Oil. He was always a great friend. I especially remember his positive attitude and happy disposition. My heartfelt sympathy to his family.
