Rockey Wayne Goodman, 65

Rockey Wayne Goodman reunited with his Lord and Savior on November 18, 2021. He was born June 6, 1956, to the late Betty Sue Son and Billy Grey Goodman in Lapeer, MI.  Rockey married Peggy (Farris) in 1975 and he soon became the proud dad to Rocky, Paul and Heather.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy and grandson Gage.

Rockey attended Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Rose City and retired from O’Reilly Auto Parts in Lonoke after toiling his adult working life in and around the car business.

He is survived by his brother Tommy (Teddy) Goodman, Sister Velda Woollums, his children, Rocky (Jenni) Goodman, Paul Goodman, Heather (Mike) Marshall. Grandchildren: Blake & Phillip Abston; Alexis, Todd, & Michael Marshall; Olivia, Jacqueline, Caden & Lincoln Goodman; great-grandchild Gracelynn Warren & 1 more on the way

When his kids were young, he was very active in their sports, either as a fan or a coach. And he shared a love of the Razorbacks with them including being able to see us capture the “boot” on the last game he was able to watch.

A celebration of his life will be held at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Rose City on Sunday December 19h at 12:30 p.m. 100 Conway Rd NLR AR 72117.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent for the youth fund to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church PO Box 17473 NLR AR 72117

Cremation arrangements are under the trusted direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    RIP Rocky!! I never forget the things you taught me! In Rocky’s word i have forgotten more than i could ever teach you but just listen an you will learn it all! Kmsl Family ur still in my prayers

    I didnt know Rocky except at church the last couple of years. I know he was suffering but he did his best to work thru his pain. We shared thoughts and I wish I had know him when were were both young and healthy. RIP Rocky you are home now !
