Thelbert Stephens, age 73

Thelbert Stephens, age 73, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. He was born on January 11, 1948.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert Stephens, and Ruby Waggle Phillips; sister Bertha Tucker; and brothers William and Wayne Stephens.

Thelbert is survived by his wife of 53 years Carol Stephens; children Belinda Ballard (Billy), and Steven Stephens; grandchildren Bethany Youngblood (Lance), Brittany Wooding (Jeff), Alyssa Miller, and Sascha Avery; great grandchildren Clay, Maddie, Remi, Katie, Bella, Cassie, and Garrett; siblings Frank Stephens (Sue), Arther Stephens (Suzie), Brenda Stephens, Robert Stephens, Glenda Light (Arnold), and James Phillips; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Thelbert loved fishing, hunting, working in the garden, and tinkering in his shop. He also loved spending time with his babies, his grandchildren who called him Papa, and his great grandchildren that called him Pops.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral State Funeral Home, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Funeral service will be on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM followed by interment at Mountain Springs Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
