William Matthew “Matt” McCabe, 28, of Atkins, Arkansas passed away on September 4, 2021. He was born January 14, 1993 in Conway, Arkansas to Clifton Dale Gilbert and Marion Lee McCabe-Howard.
Matt enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also was an avid pool player and enjoyed being around his family.
Matt is preceded in death by his daughter Pearl McCabe; son Jonathan McCabe; aunt Toni McCabe; paternal grandparents James and Georgia Gilbert; maternal grandparents Sharon Osburn; and great-grandparents B.L. and Jessie Dorman.
Matt leaves behind his parents Dale (Deanna) Gilbert and Marion McCabe; siblings Kirsten Belk (Aaron Brice), Grace Gilbert, Savannah Brooks (Beth), Haley Dixon (Derek); nieces and nephews Tucker Belk, Axlee Belk, Dax Dixon, Dierks Dixon, Doss Dixon, Braylynn Brooks, and Baylor Brooks; fiancé Sara Guajardo; grandparents Paul and Betty McCabe; aunts and uncles Roxianna Anderson (James), Michelle Shannon, Theresa Wirth (Chris Jordan), Vivian Edwards (Tim), Edward Gilbert, and Clint Gilbert; and a host of cousins and other extended family and friends.
Graveside Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 am at Casa Cemetery in Casa, Arkansas.
