Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Charles Bradford, age 62

Charles Bradford, 62, of North Little Rock, died Saturday, December 11, 2021. Charlie was born December 4, 1959 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Claude and Arverla Bradford. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High School, formally Ole Main, class of 1978.

Charlie enjoyed life to the fullest. His favorite thing to say was that, “He was still in his prime”, meaning he felt young and could do anything. Charlie loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandkids. He was employed at his family business, Bellwood Auto Service, when he was 17 and later took over as the owner. He loved serving the community as a mechanic and helped others in any way he could in his 43 years of employment. Charlie also enjoyed being an Auxiliary Deputy at the White County Sheriff’s Department for 20 years.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pam Bradford; one daughter, Kayla McElmurry; 2 grandchildren, Caroline and Beau McElmurry; and 1 sister, Tammy Robinson (Chris).

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Harrison Ben Starnes, Dr. Muhammad Alam, Dr. Kashaf Rasheed, Dr. Fakhar Ijaz, and especially to his PD nurse and friend Dawn Stout. Also thank you to the staff at Davita Dialysis Central Little Rock.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service with a visitation one hour prior.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

Charlie and I raced motorcycles ( turkey runs ), both raced stock cars , and I rode with him doing rocket runs in that big ol Ford Bronco. He was lots of fun to be around and a great guy. I know many will miss him.
