Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Jay Neyhart, age 55

We celebrate the life of Jay Neyhart, 55, born August 13, 1966 in Mechanicsville, PA. Jay left his worldly body on December 19, 2021 surrounded by love.

Jay served in the Air Force from 1986-2011, retiring as a Master Sargent. His passion for the work he did during his military service, called him back to continue working as a civilian at Little Rock Air Force Base.

He loved to play volleyball, racquetball and could smash anyone in a game of ping-pong. He was a master craftsman who loved working and creating things with his hands. Above all else Jay loved helping others.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents Jay Kelly Neyhart and Sylvia (Beidel) Zimmerman; brother John Keller; and sister Theresa Sensi.

He is survived by his loving wife Jill Neyhart; children Evan, Ryan, and Hunter; siblings Ann (Neyhart) Luckman (Matt), Dennis Rickrode, Dan (Lori), Tom (Wendy), Mike, and Jim Zimmerman, Cindy Coppersmith (Dick), Marcia Plunkert (Kevin), Andrea Green (Scott). Jake (Ariel), Craig, Mileah Luckman, Abram Corner, Neil Wilt, Autumn Rickrode, and multiple Zimmerman nieces and nephews, many friends, and his military family.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Jay since I was 19. Met him at volleyball of course. He will be missed for sure. Take care of you.
