We enjoyed some really good visits with Jim and Pat in earlier days when we lived in Dallas. Always sorry to see a “good one” depart the family on earth but glad to know he will be received by the rest of his family in heaven. One day we will all be one! Our deepest sympathy to you, Pat, and your children.

It has many years since I have had the privilege of visiting with Jim but I have so many good memories of time spent with Jim when I was younger and going to college at A&M. Loved to hear hear Jim give his testimony and was encouraged as I saw that testimony lived out before me.

Jim Holmes… During my years at Texas A&M I spent many weekends with Jim (and Pat) and those were some of the best formative years of my life. Jim had an open home to all and we filled that home with laughter and fellowship. We had some amazing Bible studies and deep discussions that are still with me today. I am so appreciative of his example and advice all those many years ago. We lost a pillar with his passing but its Heavens gain. Pat, hugs from us in Texas.

Uncle Jimmy was a one of a kind. I’m sad to hear about him passing. I am thankful I got to be around him all these years. The last time I saw him, he was telling us all about the adventures from his life and childhood. I’m so glad we got that time. Hugs and love to Aunt Pat and everyone whom he loved. Love you guys.
