Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

JoAnn Marie Kotke Imhoff, age 58

JoAnn Marie Kotke Imhoff, 58, of Sherwood, passed away on December 4, 2021, following a long battle with cancer. She was born on August 7, 1963, in Ely, Minnesota to Fredrick W. and Kathryne L. Kotke.

She was a member of the Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, James Imhoff; two children Chase Imhoff (Kaitlyn), Melissa Coffman (Fayburn); eight grandchildren: Faye Imhoff, Amelia Imhoff, Scarlett Imhoff, Kaylee Coffman, River Coffman, Ruby Coffman, Robin Coffman, and Kristina Carter; a sister Christine Edmondson (Ronnie); two brothers Fredrick W. Kotke (Leona), Gregory Kotke. She will also be greatly missed by her nephews; Kevin Kotke, Kyle Kotke, David Minor (Mykensey) and Niece, Kayla Kotke, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

JoAnn was a very determined and independent spirit that loved her family fiercely and cherished time with them more than anything. The name she loved the most was “Nana”. She loved her grandchildren with all she had. They were the reason she fought so hard to stay with them. Their morning Facetime calls will be missed greatly by all of them. They loved her so much.

The family would also like to thank the entire Myeloma Team at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Center and the UAMS 7th floor nursing staff and aids in all their efforts to battle her cancer. The nurses and doctors were “amazing angels” that always made her feel comforted and loved.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. -12 on Friday, December 10, 2021, with funeral services to follow at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church 9008 AR-107, Sherwood, AR 72120.

I’m so sorry for your loss of your Mom and Nana and Sister. A one of a kind friend. The greatest sense of humor throughout this entire battle. A special friend always thinking of others. I’ll never forget her visiting my mom in a nursing home in Pine Bluff. JoAnn will be greatly missed. Love and prayers for your families.
